Picked in Spring 2020– Smooth and mellow green, great for hot days, late nights, time of contemplation and self care— this is a very nourishing brew. Great for those who have delicate palettes, and want a fairly resilient green tea to play with that’s harder to over steep, and less likely to get bitter. This tea has a medium viscosity, is incredibly sweet and smooth and luxurious feeling, and very fresh, with notes of light seaweed. It has great umami, almost like that of sencha, and is a very warming tea with clear energy. This tea comes from its original cultivar region, using traditional processing techniques, from the base of the mystical Huangshan (Yellow Mountain) region of Anhui Province, known as Tai Ping. Huangshan holds an incredible space in our hearts here at The Space Between Black and White due to its indescribable beauty and mysticism, and this lovely tea is a great way to connect to the ancient way of the land.
