Menghai county is located in the far south of the Yunnan province, bordering Myanmar. Located within the southern Menghai are several ancient tea mountains, including The Hekei Ancient Tea Mountain - known as one of the largest ancient tea gardens planted by humans. The area is particularly known for steep, rugged mountains, and it is often difficult to access some of the coveted wild tea trees.

This ripe puerh is smooth, with a rich milk chocolate body, and light petrichor finish. The liquor is light but dark - and brings a warm, vibrant energy great for chilly fall or winter mornings.
