Dancong Oolong is cultivated from the Phoenix Mt. Range in Southern China. Our Dancong comes from a small family - who have been hand-picking, and hand-crafting their dancong oolong for generations.

This years dancong oolong, of the Nan Jiang Xiang cultivar, is forward with honey-vanilla - in taste and aroma. The mouthfeel is bright and juicy, finishing with magnolia, spice, and a sweetness lingering in the back of your cheeks.

Brewing Instructions:

Gongfu (Eastern Style Brewing):

Water Temp: 206-212F

Amount: 6-8g tea, 140-200ml Pot

Steeping Time

1st Infusion: 3-4 seconds.

2nd Infusion: 3-4 seconds.

3rd Infusion: 4-6 seconds.

4th Infusion: 6-8 seconds.

5th Infusion: 10 seconds (add 5-10 additional seconds for any subsequent infusions after the 5th).

Western Style Brewing:

Use 5g for every 0.5 liters (~2 cups) of water. Fill teapot or brewing device with water that's at or around boiling (212F) and steep for 2-3 minutes.
